SUN Behavioral Delaware is a two-story, 93,000 SF, $25 million, behavioral health hospital located on approximately six acres of land at the College Park campus in Georgetown.
The 90-bed psychiatric hospital provides a full continuum of specialized care, including inpatient and day hospital services, for those suffering from mental health illness and substance use disorders. SUN Behavioral Delaware offers specialized programs for children, adolescents, adults and seniors.
SUN Behavioral is the first psychiatric hospital building to open in the state of Delaware in over 40 years.
